Your students will use their Bibles, their critical thinking skills, and their creativity as they complete the following activities while learning about God's names:
 
My Names, God's Names: Students will think about their own names and nicknames and their meanings, then learn about how in Bible, people were often named after traits they had. They will then learn about 15 different names for God, their meanings, and where in the Bible they can be found.
 
God's Names Crossword Puzzle: Students will use their previous knowledge and the "My Names, God's Names" reference sheet to complete this puzzle. The clues give the name meaning, students must fill in the names.
 
God's Names in Music: Students will choose four worship songs, then listen to the songs and write down the names and titles of God they hear in the lyrics. (Please note: music is not included in this bundle. Students will need access to a music player with worship songs)
 
God's Names Cube Craft: Students will color/decorate this cube template, then cut it out and assemble it into a cube shape. When they are done, they will work with a partner(s) to roll the cube and give a name or title of God based on the prompt they roll. This craft can also be used by a single student to quiz themselves.
 
God's Names in the Bible: Students will look up ten different Bible verses, then draw lines to match each verse with the name/name meaning the verse gives.
 
God's Names Memory List: Students will learn about three ways knowing God's names can help us, then list as many names/titles of God that they can remember. 
 
Name Above All Names Art Prompt: Students will use art tools (not included) to create a piece of art focused on the name Jesus. Prompt tells students about Philippians 2:9-11.
 
God's Names Word Search: Students will search for 12 different names/titles of God.
 
Jesus Name Codebreaker: Students will use coordinates to crack a code and discover the text of Matthew 1:21.
 
Isaiah 9:6 Fill-In Puzzle: Students will read the text of Isaiah 9:6, then use the process of elimination to fit each name/title from the verse into the puzzle.
