Supplement your existing lessons on the kings of the Bible or use these activities to help build your own lessons! Your students will become familiar with the names of the kings of Israel and Judah and several stories and facts related to some of them.
 
This activity bundle includes 10 activities suitable for a wide range of ages:
 
Israel's Kings Cut and Paste Activity: Students cut out the names of some of the kings and paste them into the correct boxes. Clues are given to students to help them with placement: A fact and Bible reference about the king, plus the kings are listed in order of reign.
 
Judah's Kings Cut and Paste Activity: Same as the Israel version, but features the kings and queen of Judah.
 
Kings of Israel Word Search: Find the names of Israel's kings in the puzzle
 
Kings of Judah Word Search: Find the names of Judah's kings and queen in the puzzle
 
Kings of Israel and Judah Crossword Puzzle: Students will fill in the names of the rulers using clues and Bible references. Features select rulers from Israel and Judah.
 
Kings of Israel Matching Activity: Students will match each king with a fact and Bible reference. Features a selection of eight kings. Bottom portion of the page prompts students to choose a king of their choice and provide a fact and Bible reference for their chosen ruler.
 
Kings of Judah Matching Activity: Same as the Israel version, but features seven kings and one queen of Judah.
 
Kings of Israel and Judah Name Identifier: Students will use three different colors (pen/pencil/crayon/etc.) to identify which kings ruled over Israel, which kings (and queen) ruled over Judah, and which kings ruled over both.
 
About Me Page: Students will chose a king or queen then fill out an "About Me" page from the perspective of the ruler. Students will provide facts, a Bible reference, and a drawing of their king or queen.
 
King Coloring Page: Simple coloring page of a king sitting on the throne, with the text of 1 Samuel 8:21-22 (NLT) at the bottom.
